Woo hoo it opens this evening...lets hope (unlike The Loft Lounge a few doors up) it gets more than 1 hygiene star out of a maximum of 5 for its cleanliness and food hygiene

I have had some good meals and some ok meals in the past at the Loft Lounge, but had a meal there last week with my boyfriend and it was absolutely amazing, in fact the best ever. Looks like they have really up'd their game, gone are the cheap looking fries and now this time we got hand cut chunky chips, fab. Have to also say the service which has been patchy sometimes was really spot on and really attentive, looks like the Loft has really sharpened up its act, which is great cos its my favourite venue in the gay village by a mile.
Havent been to the Urban Kitchen yet but its looks like the most upmarket chippy ever well done - will try it out at the weekend.
